1. Data controller

2. What we collect on this website

When you join the waitlist we collect: your email address (required), and optionally your current Hearthstone rank, your main format (Standard or Wild), and whether you agreed to receive marketing emails.

We also record the date and time of sign-up. Our servers process your IP address temporarily to protect the form from abuse (rate limiting); it is not stored with your sign-up.

3. Why we use it and legal basis

Managing the waitlist and sending you your beta invite: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Marketing emails (product news, tips): only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Protecting the service from abuse: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How long we keep it

Waitlist data is kept until the end of the beta programme or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. [Retention period to be confirmed.]

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. It may be processed by our hosting, database and email providers acting as data processors. [List of processors and any transfers outside the EU to be added.]

6. Your rights

7. The HSMonk app (future)

The desktop tracker and coaching service are not live yet. When they launch, this notice will be updated to cover game data (which is linked to your BattleTag), and anonymous aggregation for meta statistics will require your explicit consent.
